PHYSIOTHERAPY
When you first see our Physiotherapists, they will take a detailed history of your concerns and perform a thorough physical assessment in order to reach an accurate diagnosis. They will then work with you on establishing a clear plan to tackle your specific needs by setting goals and time scales. The appropriate course of treatment may include some hands-on work like manual therapy and/or a detailed exercise plan. Adjuncts can be used such as electrotherapy, taping or acupuncture and cross teamwork may be suggested if someone with a more specialist set of skills may be of further help, for example a podiatrist, soft tissue therapist, Pilates instructor or nutritionist.

If you have been referred by another medical professional such as your GP or specialist, our Physiotherapists will work alongside them to ensure you gain the best care from a team approach.
