Neck stretches

1. Tilt your ear towards your shoulder.
Hold 10 seconds
Repeat 3 times on each side






2. Rotate your head to look over your shoulder.
Hold 10 seconds
Repeat 3 times on each side






3. Tilt your head to the right side, then rotate downwards so that you are looking at your right armpit. Place your left hand behind your back. Reach with your right hand over the top of your head and use this hand to gently increase the stretch. You should feel the stretch on the left side.
Hold 10 seconds
Repeat 3 times on each side






4. Pull your chin towards you.
Hold 10 seconds
Repeat 3 times






5. Make a fist with one hand and place it against your chin. Reach over the top of your head with the other hand. Push backwards with the 'chin' hand as you gently pull forwards with the hand on the head.
Hold 10 seconds
Repeat 3 times






6. Place a towel over the top of your shoulder and hold onto the ends of the towel with your hands. Gently pull with your hands, so that the towel is drawn towards your feet. Take a breath in. As you breathe out, side bend your head to the opposite side whilst pulling on the towel.
Repeat 3 times, going further into range each time.
Repeat whole set if needed.
